Kathy Connelly, SCRP is Chief Operating Officer for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties. As an industry veteran, she has over 30-years’ experience in real estate and joined the company as a vice-president in1994.

Most of her career has been focused on strategic growth and business development enhancing the careers of the company’s 1600 associates. As a long-standing member of the leadership team, Ms. Connelly has helped to navigate the company’s journey to a market leader in 29 markets across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

She served as qualifying broker and legal liaison for the firm from 2013 until her recent promotion to COO. In addition to continuing strategic business development, in her new role, she will focus on growing essential partnerships to provide an “all-inclusive” real estate experience for clients that distinguishes our associates as the Forever Agent serving all their client’s real estate and home service needs now and in the future. Leveraging HomeServices as our middle name will position us for "Moving Forward Together".

She earned her Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP) and Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designations and was awarded both the Meritorious Service and the Distinguished Service awards by the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council, where she currently serves on the global board of directors. She is the only real estate representative on the current board and among fewer than ten residential brokerage companies to have ever served on this coveted board during the organization’s 58 year history.

Early in her career she was recognized as national Relocation Director of the year and has continued the pursuit of service excellence throughout her career as evidenced by the countless performance awards earned by her team. Being “all in” on achieving new heights, she served two consecutive terms as president of the Metro Atlanta Relocation Council and served as president of the Relocation Directors Council.

With many mentors opening doors throughout her own career, she is honored to have the opportunity to pay it forward and is proud to see many of her mentees achieve success in their own careers.
